Taylor Anchorshade III

Posted on April 24, 2019April 30, 2019 by admin

Years ago we bought a Taylor Anchorshade for use on Tangleberry. It is a 6 foot square umbrella. The original was made of ripstop nylon and the support tube was made of powder coated steel. In time a few holes appeared in the cover and rust showed itself on the tube. Recently we bought a new Anchorshade III. The design is improved. The cover is now a heavier woven cloth, the support tube is now powder coated aluminum, and the rods that support the umbrella top are much stronger than before.
Here is how it looks on the boat. We adjust the height as low as possible for the most effective shade.
